Donald Trump, the President-elect, playfully offered to buy a young girl’s hair for “millions” during a golf cart ride at his Mar-a-Lago estate in West Palm Beach. While chatting with fans on the golf course, Trump noticed the girl, who was wearing a polo shirt, jeans, and a white sun visor.
After complimenting her curly hair, Trump jokingly asked if he could purchase it for millions. At the time, Trump’s signature hairstyle was concealed beneath his MAGA cap.
The girl later told Trump that she had voted for him. In response, he expressed surprise, saying, “Wow,” before turning to her and saying, “I vote for you.”
This interaction comes shortly after Special Counsel Jack Smith announced on Monday that two criminal cases against Trump had been dropped. The cases, which involved allegations of Trump retaining classified documents and attempting to overturn his 2020 election loss, were dismissed due to legal immunity granted to sitting presidents.
The decision aligns with the Justice Department’s long-standing policy that prevents criminal prosecution of a sitting president. While the move was expected, it marks a significant development in the effort to hold a former president accountable while he campaigns for a second term in office, according to the Mirror US.
