Rachel Fuda is embracing a fresh start. On October 23, the star of The Real Housewives of New Jersey took to her Instagram Stories to showcase her latest hairstyle. The new layered cut falls just below her shoulders. In her post, Rachel wrote, “Fresh Color & Blow Out,” adding that her look is giving “’90s mom energy, and I’m here for it.”
The hairstyle indeed radiates ’90s nostalgia. It features layered pieces with added volume at the front, creating face-framing sections that flip outward. While the lighting made it difficult to see the exact shade, it seems Rachel has chosen a slightly lighter brunette compared to the deep raven locks she sported during Season 14 of RHONJ. In August, she had longer hair in a darker hue. She humorously captioned an earlier post, “Her hair is so big, because it’s full of secrets!” referencing a famous line from the 2003 film Mean Girls.
Alongside her hair update, Rachel has made other beauty changes this year, including trying out an iridescent “9D” manicure. She also addressed questions about her veneers in February 2023, sharing before-and-after photos of her smile. The mother of two noted that having veneers “definitely feels different but not in an uncomfortable way,” and remarked that her teeth are now “way smoother.”
Rachel expressed that she was “absolutely petrified” about having her teeth shaved down. However, she reassured her followers that the procedure “did not hurt at all.” Responding to concerns about losing her original teeth, she acknowledged her worries but shared, “I did Clear Correct for four years and was just never happy. I knew it was the shape of my teeth and the hollowness in my smile.”
She explained her decision to have the procedure done at Smile Texas in Houston rather than a location in New Jersey. “It wasn’t about the pricing… After speaking with the staff, I just felt so comfortable. They’re all incredibly sweet and professional.” Although Rachel didn’t disclose the exact cost of her veneers, she mentioned that the price for “upper ten” can start at $21,500, while the combined cost for both upper and lower veneers can begin at $41,000.
