On September 12, Jenner showcased her new hairstyle on Instagram, marking a clear departure from her previous look. The photos featured Jenner experimenting with different styles, including an updo with a claw clip and an open style adorned with a headband.
The Instagram post garnered over 4 million likes and 13,000 comments. Jenner captioned the photo with “blonded,” eliciting enthusiastic reactions from her followers. Her sisters were particularly supportive, with Kim Kardashian exclaiming, “You did it!!!” Khloe Kardashian commented simply with, “Damn,” while Kylie Jenner used a heart-eye emoji. In an interview with Vogue, hair colorist Jenna Perry revealed that the transformation took two days to achieve the “gorgeous shade of golden blonde.” Perry noted that Jenner’s current style is inspired by the ’90s and Caroline Bessette-Kennedy.
