However, Aguirre has some regrets about her past. She wishes she had embraced aging earlier and avoided dyeing her hair. In a recent video, which has garnered more than 16,000 views, she shared a throwback photo from her 40s. At that time, she was self-conscious about the grey hair she had since her teenage years.
Since 1981, the year of her high school prom, Aguirre had been dyeing her hair regularly, touching up her roots every two weeks to cover the grey. Now, she has stopped this routine and fully embraced her natural grey hair.
Reflecting on her past choices, Aguirre said, “I was 40 and dyeing my hair for over twenty years. Now, at 61, I regret dyeing my hair all those years.”
