Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s recent visit to Canada, ahead of the 2025 Invictus Games, appears to have been a great success. The couple shared a new photo from their time at the One Year to Go Dinner in Vancouver.
Published in People, the photo features Markle in a striking olive green gown by Canadian designer Greta Constantine. The dress, with its single-shoulder design, is complemented by a simple diamond necklace. Markle styled her hair in a sleek bun with a side part. She is seen smiling alongside Prince Harry, who is dressed in a blue suit.
The Sussexes arrived in British Columbia in mid-February to kick off the Invictus Games season. Markle quickly showcased her stylish cold-weather wardrobe and continued to wear her signature skinny jeans, despite popular opinions on social media.
In a statement to People, the couple expressed their joy about returning to Canada, which holds special significance for them. “It was an honor to be welcomed by the Four Host First Nations, as we marked One Year to Go with Invictus coaches, competitors, and families,” they said. They added, “Our hearts were warmed by the Canadian people, food, and culture. The Invictus spirit and excitement were palpable throughout Whistler and Vancouver. We are deeply grateful for the wonderful visit and look forward to returning.”
