Gina Kirschenheiter, known for her standout style on The Real Housewives of Orange County, has turned to her Instagram followers for advice on a possible new hairdo. In a recent Instagram post, Gina asked a pressing question: Should she get bangs?
“I’ve been seeing a lot of bangs lately,” Gina said in the video. “They’re all over Reels and TikTok, and I’m starting to wonder, ‘Do I need bangs too?’ But deep down, I know this might not be the best decision. We all remember my past hair mishaps, and I can’t handle another one.”
Gina then urged her followers to help her avoid what she feared could be a regrettable decision. “So, please, help me understand that bangs aren’t the way to go, right?” she concluded.
Her followers and friends quickly responded in the comments, offering their opinions on the potential change. “JUST SAY NO,” wrote RHOC cast member Heather Dubrow.
Gary Janetti, a frequent guest on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, chimed in: “You’re just recovering from that interview look. Do you really want to take this on, Gina?”
Gina responded to Gary, explaining why she sought public opinion. “Gary! This is exactly why I’m bringing this to the people,” she said. “The overwhelming ‘no’s’ will be my inner voice when I’m tempted.”
Despite the flood of negative feedback, Gina couldn’t resist giving bangs a try—at least virtually. She later posted a video on Instagram wearing a red dress, with bangs framing her face. “New interview look,” she wrote over the image.
However, the reveal quickly showed that the bangs were digitally added. “Played it safe,” Gina wrote in the caption, teasing Gary with, “I got you, didn’t I?”
Her friends were once again surprised. “Now Gina… I was about to scream,” commented Wendy Osefo of The Real Housewives of Potomac.
Heather responded with a series of “HAHAHAHAHAHA.”
Gary, however, was more measured in his reaction, noting, “It wasn’t terrible.”

Throughout RHOC Season 18, Gina has sported a sleek, longer blonde bob. This style marks a significant evolution from when viewers first met her in Season 13, where she experimented with various looks, from long extensions to a sharp bob. Gina has openly discussed the struggles she faced with her hair over the years.
“My hair being such a disaster over the last few years was very indicative of where I was in life,” Gina shared with The Daily Dish in March 2022.
She continued, “Finally being happy in my life, figuring out my skin, figuring out my hair has just really helped my overall confidence. I feel more like myself now and more comfortable in my own skin than ever before, which is a really nice feeling.”
