Dannielynn Birkhead, daughter of the late Anna Nicole Smith, made a striking appearance at a cosplay convention with her father, Larry Birkhead, in celebration of her upcoming birthday.
Larry Birkhead shared photos of the 17-year-old and himself from the Power Morphicon event in Pasadena, California, which took place from August 23 to 25. He posted the images on Instagram, thanking @tokuspirits for the experience.
The Power Morphicon is an annual event celebrating Japanese live-action series and the Power Rangers franchise. Larry noted in his post that Dannielynn was thrilled to meet her favorite characters. She sported a wig with white streaks and a unique “bird-style” design, featuring hand and feather elements.
Larry mentioned that this event marked the beginning of Dannielynn’s birthday celebrations, with the countdown officially underway.
Dannielynn, born to Larry Birkhead and the late model and actress Anna Nicole Smith, has often been in the public eye. Smith, whose real name was Vickie Lynn Hogan, passed away from an accidental drug overdose in 2007, when Dannielynn was just five months old.
Anna Nicole Smith was known for her marriage to wealthy oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall II, and her subsequent legal battles for his fortune. She also starred in the reality TV show “The Anna Nicole Show” from 2002 to 2004.
Smith’s pregnancy with Dannielynn was revealed in 2006, shortly before the tragic death of her son Daniel from a drug overdose. Though two men claimed paternity, Larry Birkhead was confirmed as Dannielynn’s father through DNA testing.
Larry Birkhead, a photographer, maintains a close bond with Dannielynn and frequently honors her late mother. In January, Larry shared photos from the Kentucky Derby, an annual tradition where he first met Smith.
