A 27-year-old woman took her own life by ingesting hair dye in Thangallapalli village, Thandur mandal, on Saturday night.
Thandur Sub-Inspector Kiran Kumar reported that Pasuloti Meena attempted suicide by drinking the dye on Saturday evening. She was promptly taken to a hospital in Mancherial but sadly passed away during treatment at 11:30 p.m.
Meena had been living at her parents’ home for the past few years due to ongoing disputes with her husband.
She married Naresh from Gundaram village, Kamanpur mandal, Peddapalli district, in 2016. The couple had two sons and a daughter.
