Man Arrested at Miami Airport After Hair Transplant Bleeding Incident

by Barbara

A man who was bleeding from a recent hair transplant was arrested at Miami Airport on Tuesday after he refused to leave a plane. Eugenio Ernesto Hernandez-Garnier, 27, and his companion, Yusleydis Blanca Loyola, were removed from the American Airlines flight bound for Las Vegas.

According to local media, airport staff became concerned about Hernandez-Garnier’s head injury and potential contamination from his bleeding. Hernandez-Garnier reportedly claimed he did not have clean bandages to address the wound.

The situation escalated when the pair refused to disembark, with Loyola reportedly telling the crew, “If they can’t fly, no one else can either.” Police were called to the scene and warned the couple of the possibility of arrest.

Loyola began live-streaming the incident on TikTok as the situation unfolded. Eventually, both Hernandez-Garnier and Loyola were handcuffed and escorted off the flight. Other passengers also had to leave the plane due to the disruption, according to Florida’s Local10 News.

Hernandez-Garnier and Loyola are facing charges of trespassing and resisting arrest.

A typical hair transplant involves removing hair follicles from the back of the scalp and replanting them along the hairline after making small holes with a scalpel or needle.
