In a society where men are often expected to handle challenges on their own, hair loss is a significant issue that many face in isolation. To address this, Man Matters, a leading brand in men’s wellness and grooming, has introduced a new campaign featuring actors Vikrant Massey and Raghu Ram, known for his role on the popular show Roadies.
The campaign aims to challenge the stigma surrounding men seeking help for hair loss. It opens with Massey examining his thinning hair in a mirror and questioning the effectiveness of his current hair growth products. As he considers consulting experts for a fresh start, Raghu Ram makes a dramatic entrance as Massey’s “Man ki Awaaz” (Voice of the Heart).
Raghu Ram’s character embodies Massey’s inner voice, addressing the societal pressure for men to avoid seeking help for fear of ridicule. He also makes a nod to Massey’s recent critically acclaimed film, 12th Fail. Encouraged by Raghu Ram’s character, Massey decides to overcome his doubts and seek professional advice for his hair loss.
The campaign ends with a message highlighting Man Matters’ solutions, which include personalized care supported by over 150 doctors and 100 coaches. The brand aims to offer a supportive, expert-driven approach to men’s hair care.
In India, hair has traditionally been a symbol of pride. However, factors like stress and poor nutrition have led to a rise in hair loss among men. Despite the growing issue, few brands effectively address it. Man Matters seeks to bridge this gap by raising awareness and encouraging men to tackle hair loss early, rather than letting it advance to baldness.
