Natural wellbeing company Cosy Cottage has introduced a new hair serum crafted from a unique blend of natural oils. This serum is designed to promote hair growth, improve hair health, and leave hair feeling luxurious.
The serum, suitable for all hair types but particularly beneficial for dry and curly hair, contains only seven natural ingredients. These oils, rooted in traditional hair care practices and backed by modern science, are known for their hair-stimulating, strengthening, and balancing properties.
The Seven Super Oils:
Argan Oil – A light, non-greasy oil that penetrates and nourishes the hair shaft, reducing frizz and dryness.
Grape Seed Oil – Adds shine, tames flyaways, and stimulates scalp circulation.
Sweet Almond Seed Oil – Contains biotin, believed to stimulate keratin production in hair follicles, counteracting thinning.
Jojoba Seed Oil – Rich in vitamins and minerals, including vitamins C, B, E, copper, and zinc, which maintain healthy hair.
Castor Seed Oil – Antibacterial and anti-fungal, it moisturizes and stimulates the scalp, improving blood flow to hair follicles.
Rosemary Essential Oil – Traditionally used to promote hair growth, with some studies suggesting it protects against hair loss.
Lavender Essential Oil – Treats dandruff and conditions hair follicles, improving texture, reducing frizz, and controlling hair fall.
The serum is versatile, serving as a 3-in-1 product. It can be applied to freshly washed, towel-dried hair, used to touch up dry hair and control frizz, or smoothed onto hair as a nourishing overnight treatment before washing out in the morning. It complements Cosy Cottage’s natural haircare range, which includes a Shampoo Bar and a nourishing Conditioner Roundel.
As with all Cosy Cottage products, the serum is free from palm oil, water, surfactants, artificial additives, and preservatives. This makes it ideal for people with sensitive skin or conditions like eczema and psoriasis. The packaging is plastic-free, fully refillable, and recyclable, making it environmentally friendly. The serum is formulated and crafted in the brand’s Yorkshire workshop.
