Deep Down, She’s a Dog
“I think she knows deep down inside that she was raised by a husky. And she takes on so many of those features,” Thoa explained further to The Dodo. “She thinks she’s more a dog than anything,” says Thoa. How hilarious!
And what’s even more funny is that Rosie has developed a lot more dog-like features than just going for walks on leashes and using the restroom outdoors. Not only do the four of them eat together from the same bowl, and go on walks together with leashes, but they adventure around with the family, too.
Cat Fighting All the Cat Stereotypes
Of course Rosie will always be a cat by nature, but she was nurtured by a pack of huskies, and latched on to their love in a way nobody ever expected.
Not only has she proven that cats and dogs don’t always fight, but she’s shown that she’s not afraid of water like a stereotypical cat either.
“We go on a lot of road trips, and we recent took Rosie kayaking and paddle-boating with us,” Thoa told ABC News. “She’s not afraid at all, and as long as Lilo is there, she knows everything is going to be OK.”
A Diamond in the Rough
Even if it was just for a few weeks, there is no question that Rosie went through and survived a lot as a kitten. Especially since those few weeks were her very first ones into this world, she’s shown to be a real diamond in the rough for this family. She might’ve picked up her habits from her huskies, but she’s a tough kitty in her heart and soul.
But because she was shown so much warmth and TLC (tender-love-and-care) from Thoa and Lilo as soon as they brought her into their home, Rosie seemed to have developed another strong feature.
