At only a few weeks old, a tiny, lonely kitty was abandoned in the streets of the southern bay area of California, left to survive alone as a stray. After a group of sisters found and rescued the kitty and entered it into their home, alongside their other furry animals, the lost kitten found a very strong connection with one of their beautiful Siberian huskies, Lilo.
Little did anyone know that soon this sad, struggling kitty would grow up to be a courageous canine, but with a very peculiar behavior.
The Spring Cold in California
While the weather in California might seem to be always warm and sunny, winter and spring time can still be quite chilly – especially up north. Reaching temperatures of around the 40s at night in San Jose, California, a young little kitty was struggling to survive around April of 2015 all on her own. At just a couple of weeks old, a brand new form of warmth was about to reach the sweet, abandoned kitty, and all of her luck in life was about to change.
Thoa, Thi, and Tram to the Rescue
The struggling, sad stray kitty was found on the streets of the southern bay area, but pretty soon someone special was about to save her.
Thoa Bui was a local Californian who was much more than just an animal lover. She had rescued animals over the years and had grown to love animals more and more each day. So, when her and her sisters Thi and Tram had stumbled upon the lost kitten, Thoa wasted no time taking her into her home.
But taking a stray off the streets isn’t as simple or as easy as it sounds.
