Unlikely Encounters
Pennywise the clown from IT was always adorable in our opinion – but it’s only in Comic-Con that he gets the love he truly deserves.
As for that demonic nun… well, we checked, and apparently, that isn’t cosplay. That’s just a person who likes dressing up that way.
Or, possibly, you know… an actual demonic nun.
We mean, what – aren’t demonic nuns entitled to their hobbies just like the rest of us?
Slice of Life
Life and imagination meet at Comic-Con, and allow us to glimpse our favorite characters in situations we normally don’t get to see them in – and the Incredibles going shopping together makes so much sense, we can’t help but wonder if this will somehow make it into their next movie!
We gotta say, this is brilliant cosplay – not just because the costumes look great, but because no matter how domestic and day to day what they do gets, it’s all in character!
Jessica Deadpool
This Deadpool-Jessica Rabbit mashup is so clever – and not just because we’d love to see these characters meet – but also because of the tissue stuffing that’s peeking out of the dress. We feel that’s very in-character… for both of these characters!
Deadpool really is a blessing for cosplayers. Throw him in to any mashup and it immediately boosts the funny factor.
Also, this really makes us wonder – if Deadpool were to appear in Who Framed Roger Rabbit – would he be a cartoon character, or a live action actor?
I AM GROOT
Holy cow, this is fantastic. This Groot cosplay is so lifelike, we had to double check to make sure it wasn’t a real plant-based alien walking around San Diego!
If you look closely, you might notice little tendrils running up and down this cosplayer’s arms and torso.
We’re not one hundred percent sure, but we strongly suspect they might be little LED strips, which would mean that this Groot lights up in the dark. Now, that’d be a sight to see.
