Marriage is a Nightmare
We wonder if these two matching cosplayers are a couple in real life, or if they just met at Comic-Con. If it is a choice for a couple costume, it’s pretty odd, no? Jack and Sally Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas are hardly a dreamy, romantic pairing. Or maybe they are?
After all, the Pumpkin King and Queen do have a kind of dark magic, ethereal bond, way beyond the normal human emotions. On second thought, we love this one.
Hound in a Halfshell
A big part of the DIY mentality behind good cosplay is to make do with what you’ve got.
And if you want to dress up as April O’Neil of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fame, and no-one’s willing to be your Michelangelo, then…
A) WHAT’S WRONG WITH PEOPLE? WHO WOULDN’T WANT TO BE A NINJA TURTLE IN COMIC-CON?!!?
B) Turn to your best friend.
That’s the best thing about dogs, really. They’re always there for you when you need them… and they can’t say “no” when you dress them up as a Ninja Turtle.
Couple Goals
Wow. Just look at this incredible cosplay and truly a display of utter couple goals! These two not only complement each other completely in terms of their Deadpool and Negasonic Teenage Warhead costumes but their posture and chemistry look totally perfect together.
Do you think they arrived here as a couple or fell in love the first time they laid eyes on each other at Comic-Con?
Toadette
Only real Super Mario fans will get this one.
If you want to do a Super Mario cosplay, the obvious choices would be Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Bowser or Yoshi – but if you want to go for the real deep cuts, Toadette is a pretty strong move.
We love the balls at the end of her pigtails – they really help complete the look!
