Chris O’Dowd – Thor: The Dark World
Thor: The Dark World is far from known as the best Thor movies out there (you can’t win them all, even when it comes to Marvel movies). But, this little cameo is a funny sort of highlight.
Chris O’Dowd appears as Jane Foster’s date, but can’t compete with the hunk Thor so she completely ignores him. O’Dowd actually forgot he did this cameo, which begs the question – how cool must your life be if you manage to forget you made a cameo in a marvel movie?
Gene Hackman – Young Frankenstein
Yes, some cameos are so great we can’t help but remember them even after more than four decades. This 1974 comedy horror, which many believe is Mel Brook’s best film, saw Gene Hackman play a blind man.
Just a few years later, Hackman would win his first Academy Award for The French Connection, but his talent shone bright even in this small role. That scene when the Hackman’s blind character accidentally burns the poor Frankenstein’s monster with soup is beyond hilari ous.
