Tina Fey – Muppets Most Wanted
We all know Tina Fey is good at comedy, but we’re not used to seeing her lend her talents to something like a Muppets movie.
Considering Fey wrote Mean Girls, and created 30 Rock (not to mention is a respected SNL alumn), it’s kind of surprising she would agree to this cameo. But it just goes to show she hasn’t let fame and success go to her head And she aced this odd role of a singing Russian prison officer.
Mike Myers – Bohemian Rhapsody
We love it when cameos have some hidden, easter egg meaning. Like in this case, when Mike Myers showed up as the EMI Executive Ray Foster.
Devoted, long-time fans all got a good laugh out of his line “no one is going to be head-banging in the car to ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’!”. Because it’s of course a reference to that scene in Myer’s iconic 1992 comedy Wayne’s World, when his character does exactly that; head-bangs in the car to Bohemian Rhapsody.
