No More Unpaid Work
In today’s society, different generations seem to have different ideas about what it means to be a committed employee. Corporate managers are usually older, and therefore more used to a world where young people would happily work for free to gain experience.
These days, attitudes are changing and young people simply won’t settle for working long hours for no pay anymore. They’re not letting themselves be taken for granted, so the older generations simply have to keep up.
Rejecting the Hustle
If there is one thing that the younger generations are great at, it’s rejecting the systems older generations can’t seem to let go of. It makes sense that people are starting to realize the importance of having a true work-life balance instead of hustling ourselves to the point of burning out.
We’d much rather break free from tradition and enjoy ourselves while we can than wait to get old before we start doing things we genuinely like.
