Ezi Magbegor
After conquering Australia’s top women’s basketball competition, the WNBL, Ezi Magbegor, wanted to do the same in WNBA. Since being drafted in the first round of the 2019 Draft, Magbegor has been reliable in the center position for the Seattle Storm and is improving her game every day.
Magbegor revealed that her favorite off-the-court activity is watching TV shows and movies in a recent interview. She’s a big fan of Grey’s Anatomy and she enjoys Will Smith movies.
Brianna Turner
Brianna Turner might not have eye-catching numbers, but that isn’t stopping her from having a huge impact on the basketball court. The Phoenix Mercury forward does the majority of her work on the defensive side of the ball and she’s already so good at it that she’s recognized as one of the best defenders in the league.
Turner’s arguably doing even more impressive things in private life. She’s a passionate activist and isn’t afraid to speak out on issues like police brutality and gender equity in sports.
