Even with the rise in activity on social media in recent years, both Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova have used their accounts for their professional or personal lives, but not much with their love life.
While there’s no confirmed reasons for why they’ve chosen to keep their love away from the spotlight, one can assume that part of the reason might have to do with a few steamy rumored incidents in the press with her previous NHL love interests, that occurred before Kournikova and Iglesias dated.
Rumors of Anna’s Love Life in the Early 2000s
In the early 2000s, there were a few rumors going around that Kournikova was engaged or married to two different Russian NHL players. Even though both Kournikova and Iglesias are famous for their own achievements, it’s one thing to have the press talk about you, but it’s another thing for the media to get involved with your loved ones. Let’s be honest, relationships can be quite difficult, and clearly being under the spotlight is, too.
So, it makes sense that since she had to deal with all of these rumors about her love life at a very young age, she would opt to keep things private and away from the press when it came to her relationships from there on, out.
