Age Differences
Well, it had to do with the age difference between them—Fox was just 18 and Green was 30.
“I met Megan on that, and she was really young. And I was like, ‘This isn’t this. This can’t f–king happen. This isn’t going to happen, no way.’ And so I left and she was just really persistent—and thank God,” Green said on Barstool Sports’ KFC Radio podcast.
And just like that, the couple started dating in 2004. Fox and Green were about to take the next steps in their relationship.
The Next Step
Just two years later, the couple was ready to take the next step in their relationship—they got engaged in November 2006. But their excitement wasn’t meant to last and by February 2009 they called it quits.
The two were on-again-off-again and during one of their off-again periods, rumors started circulating about Fox getting close off-screen to another costar—Transformers actor and love interest in the film, Shai LeBeouf.
But were the rumors true, were Megan Fox and Shia LaBeouf ever an item?
