Famous Feud
After filming the second film in the Transformers franchise, Fox told Wonderland that director Michael Bay “wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is” and that “he’s vulnerable and fragile in real life…and then on set he’s a tyrant.”
In response to her comments, the crew members of the film published a letter referring to Fox “as about ungracious a person as you can ever fathom.”
Bay responded on his website saying that he didn’t “condone the crew letter to Megan” nor her “outlandish quotes” and added, “but her crazy quips are part of her crazy charm.”
He later told GQ that the film’s executive producer, Steven Spielberg said, “Fire her right now.”
So, what was next for the up-and-coming star?
Leading Lady
Megan Fox’s career hit a bit of a rough patch after she wasn’t cast in the third Transformers film. But two years later, in 2009, she landed her first lead role since the Transformers series in the cult-classic Jennifer’s Body, portraying the title character. She went on to star in 2010’s Jonah Hex playing Tallulah Black/Leila.
Things behind the scenes were just as much of a rollercoaster for the actress. Fox was making a name for herself as one of the hottest stars in Hollywood and she was getting close with her famous costars off-screen.
