Getting Noticed
At just 15, Megan Fox made her acting debut in 2001’s Holiday in the Sun, playing spoiled heiress Brianna Wallace, opposite Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. It was the big break she needed and soon after, the roles kept on coming.
But it wasn’t until 2004 that the young Fox made her feature film debut opposite Lindsay Lohan in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, playing mean girl Carla Santini.
Fox continued landing roles, but it was her TV role in Hope & Faith that would have the biggest impact on her life to date. Because that’s where she met her future husband Brian Austin Green.
Becoming a Household Name
After starring in Hope & Faith, Fox landed her biggest role to date—she was cast as the lead female role of Mikaela Banes in the 2007 live-action filmTransformers, playing Shia LaBeouf’s Sam Witwicky’s love interest.
Fox signed on for two more of the Transformers sequels, reprising her role in 2009’s Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and she was set to star in the third installment 2011’s Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
But she was pulled from the film due to a very famous feud that almost ended her career.
