Different Paths
Unlike Faris’ career, with its steady upwards motion, Pratt’s career had its ups and downs. While Faris soon became well-known in the comedy world, Pratt struggled to get small TV roles to keep him moving.
In 2007,Faris was cast as the female lead of Take Me Home Tonight – a retro comedy written by the creators of That ’70s Show. While the film was shot in 2007, it was only released in 2011.
A relatively unknown actor was cast as Faris’ boyfriend in the film: Chris Pratt. That’s when everything changed.
First Spark
Though Anna Faris was still married when she started working on Take Me Home Tonight, her marriage was secretly falling apart. The attraction between her and Pratt happened immediately – but Faris was still married, and Chris flirted with other actresses on the set, as well.
Still, that spark would soon set off a decade long fire that would change both of these actors’ lives forever.
