Mutual Fame
This Hollywood power couple had actually gained fame before they got together. Anna Faris was known for her role as Cindy Campbell in the popular horror parody franchise Scary Movie, while Chris Pratt caught our attention with his role as the loveable and goofy Andy Dwyer in the TV sitcom, Parks and Recreation.
The two portrayed both instantly loveable, comedic characters, and had already gained cult followings by the time they started dating – so you can guess what kind of buzz they made when they went public!
The Similarities
Pratt and Faris first met in 2007, but their lives were intertwined long before that. They grew up a 20 minute drive from each other in Washington state. Pratt once pointed out that “We both got our start in horror spoofs. We both did an animated movie for Phil Lord and Chris Miller. We both made our careers playing guileless nitwits for laughs. We both have parents that have suffered with MS. The similarities go on and on.”
