Baby Announcement
In May 2012, Faris and Pratt announced they were expecting a baby that was due in fall later that year. After they got married, the couple shared that they would love to have a baby, but that they had a hard time agreeing on a schedule for such an important step. Pratt wanted it as soon as possible, but Faris didn’t want to give up her blossoming career.
Ultimately, even though it took them a few years, their new addition to the family was finally on its way.
Premature Baby
Their son, Jack, was born in August 2012. The birth started two months early and baby Jack had to spend a month in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Despite all the trouble the family went through, they were aware that their lives had gotten richer and more meaningful when Jack was born.
The fact that Jack made it through the difficulties and dangers of premature birth brought Chris and Anna closer together, and also brought them both, according to Chris, closer to god.
