Talking about her What’s Your Number? character, Ally Darling, Faris said that she’s personally quite different from the outgoing and promiscuous character she portrayed. In real life, she said, she would avoid intimate encounters, as they made her nervous and uncomfortable. Luckily, she was comfortable enough with Evans to be able to relax and develop a good working chemistry with him.
Her husband, Pratt, also made an appearance in the film, as one of Faris’ character’s ex boyfriends!
He Did Everything He Could
When it came to their relationship, Pratt did everything he could to win his girl over day after day. He would braid her hair while they were relaxing at home, write her letters from shooting locations, and did many different romantic gestures. But their busy schedules still came between them, and Pratt’s romantic gestures were sometimes not enough to overcome the longing and the distance.
Still, since they were both successful actors working on their careers, distance was just a harsh part of their reality.
