Ups and Downs
Anna Faris’ successful career started to slowly fade down while Pratt’s popularity grew. With his role in Parks and Recreation, Pratt’s career got the boost it needed, and Pratt’s star was on the rise.
He began to be offered better, shinier roles, and from playing second fiddle to Faris’ successful career, it seemed as if he would soon eclipse it.
Unfortunately, Faris found this new dynamic difficult to deal with, and her husband’s newfound success began to be a point of strain for the lovers.
Green-Eyed Monster
One problem that persisted throughout Farris and Pratt’s relationship was that both of them were constantly jealous about each other’s ex-partners and co-stars. With a passionate relationship like theirs, and with Faris already having set a precedent of leaving her husband for a co-star, it makes sense that they would feel strongly about them spending lots of time with attractive actors. Pratt hated it when Faris was filming What’s Your Number? alongside Chris Evans, but he and Evans ended up being so close later that Faris was the jealous one.
