Inspiring Each Other to Be Better
In 2008, the two lovebirds went on their first tour together, and it was overall a great experience.
Shelton told Redbook, “I learned a lot watching her on stage every night”, while Lambert expressed, “we pushed each other to be better”.
They were smitten, they were inspired by each other, shared the same interests, and held onto the same values.
Their love was inspiring to fans all around, and it seemed like the power couple was unstoppable.
Yet as both country singers were on a successful streak, along came an issue that is known all-too-well in the music industry.
The Wave That Rocked the Boat
The country singing, bowhunting, spunky celebrity couple had hit a wave that might have rocked the love boat a little too hard.
Although they had the rare and incredible experience of touring together in 2008, ultimately their schedules started to become a problem.
So when you’re on the road at different times or have opposite schedules between shooting music videos, participating in photoshoots, or even in the studio, it takes a toll on the relationship.
Supposedly, Lambert would sometimes have to look up on BlakeShelton.com to see where he was just to keep up with his schedule!
