Blake Shelton as a Bestie
Miranda Lambert was in her freshly ripe years of her 20s when her career started to bloom. Her new country life had been filled with concerts, studio time, and photoshoots. So, it was nice to have a pal that could help her through it all.
During her interview on Behind the Music: Miranda Lambert, she further explained the importance of Shelton for her at that time. “It just felt so great to have somebody that had been through it. Who knew exactly what I was going through.”
Shelton mentioned that their “relationship was an instant bond. I talked to her 3-4 times a week, probably.”
But soon enough, the roles would have to switch.
More Rumors
Rumors suggested that Shelton’s separation was due to Lambert, but Shelton and his wife were in a rough patch even before he met her. So, when time came for them to actually split up, of course Shelton was in a bad place. And anyone who has gone through a marriage separation knows and understands the importance of support from friends and family.
And even though Lambert and Shelton did start to develop feelings for each other, they also knew it wasn’t the time or place to do so.
So, was Miranda actually the reason for the end of Shelton’s first marriage?
