Shelton’s Duet and Stefani’s Solo
The rebellious, spunky city girl was flying solo and at full-speed with her new project and was clearly anything but a Hollaback girl.
Stefani’s debut solo album Love. Angel. Music. Baby. (L.A.M.B.) was finalized and released in 2004.
Fans loved everything about the album – from the ‘80s inspired electro-pop beats to the spicy and sassy lyrics to the themed concepts of wealth, love, and fashion that radiated throughout the track list.
And while Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert were on stage singing their first duet together in 2005, Stefani set out on her first solo tour (the Harajuku Lovers Tour).
Love, Music, and a Baby
There was just one more heavenly surprise cooking up in Stefani’s life.
Her life was filled with music from her career with No Doubt to her solo career. And it was filled with love from her newly-expanded fan-base and her beloved husband, Gavin Rossdale – rhythm guitarist of the band Bush. So, what was missing from this luxurious life? A baby!
In 2006, Stefani and her husband expanded the family and had their very first son together, Kingston Rossdale.
While Stefan’s life seemed to be falling perfectly into place, simultaneously, Shelton’s seemed in the midst of a new chapter in life.
