The trial sibling
If you’re the oldest sibling in your family, you may have been called the “trial sibling.” After all, your parents didn’t know how to raise a kid when they had you, and they had no experience of what was the right and wrong way to bring you up.
When your younger sibling came along, though, they knew exactly what to do. This older sibling thought that they were being pretty philosophical with their social media post, but they were soon brought back down to earth with this little reminder. That had to hurt.
Down the right path
People just loud to spout proverbs and quotes on social media, don’t they? While these people obviously think that these things make them sound smart and cultured, the reality of these quotes is that they’re just a little outdated.
Just look at this African proverb. Sure, we respect our elders and appreciate everything they’ve done for us over the years, but the youth of today have it a little easier. Instead of having to read a physical map, we have Google Maps to do it for us. It’s as simple as that.
