We live in a world where most people take the internet for granted. We think nothing of being able to buy our favorite candy from across the globe, booking vacations and adventures at the click of a button, ordering dinner when we don’t have the energy to cook, and stalking our ex-boyfriends on social media. We’ve become so accustomed to the internet that we don’t appreciate it as much as we should. So, here’s our declaration of love, loud and proud for everyone to hear. You’re our favorite, internet.
You know what makes us love the internet even more? When people get called out for talking trash. While most people use the internet to better their lives, there are other people who use it to brag, lie, and talk about things that just aren’t appropriate. Thankfully, there are many internet heroes who aren’t afraid to pull out some savage responses and burns that put these liars back in their place. You better whip out the aloe vera for these bad boys, because these burns are super-strength.
The common denominator
Everyone has their own opinions of feminists, and this guy obviously had a rather negative opinion of those who want equality for both men and women. What he didn’t realize in his anti-feminist tirade, though, is the fact that his post was the ultimate self-own.
He may never have met a feminist who looked like a very happy person, but does he not realize that he has been the common denominator during all of these interactions? Perhaps they just really didn’t like this person and weren’t going to pretend that they did.
