Lyndsey McElroy (Courtney Thorne-Smith): Now
Courtney Thorne-Smith has had a long career in the entertainment business.
Her first film appearance was in 1986’s Lucas, alongside Winona Ryder – and future Two and a Half Men star, Charlie Sheen.
She also starred in Revenge of the Nerds II: Nerds in Paradise, as well as in Chairman of the Board, opposite legendary comedian Carrot Top.
On TV, before Two and a Half Men, she’s appeared in shows like Melrose Place, Ally McBeal and According to Jim.
In recent years, she’s starred in ABC’s sitcom Fresh Off the Boat, as well as in the leading role of Emma Fielding in three of Hallmark’s Emma Fielding Mysteries television films.
Beverly (Allison Janney): Then
Beverly and Alan meet via online dating in season 4. Alan lies and claims that Charlie’s house is his own, though he later confesses the truth once she opens up on the details of her previous relationships. Beverly proves to be an amusing character, perhaps most notably so when Charlie walks in on Alan tied to the bed at her behest.
