Paula (Paula Marshall): Now
Paula Marshall has had a long career in TV and film before she played the part of the similarly named Paula in Two and a Half Men.
Before her appearance on the show, she had guest roles in shows like The Wonder Years, Seinfeld and Veronica Mars, as well as main roles in shows like Spin City, Cupid, Nip/Tuck, Californications and Snoops.
Most recently, she acted in the 2017 film We Love You, Sally Carmichael! and in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
Miss Delores Pasternak (Missi Pyle): Then
Miss Pasternak was Jake’s schoolteacher who first made her appearance in season 2, reprising it every few seasons throughout the show’s run. She gives Jake good marks while she dates Charlie, though the union ends once Charlie uncovers her mental illness. Years later, it’s discovered that she lost her teaching license and became a stripper. Charlie pities her, offering her the position to be Jake’s tutor, though she leaves for good when Charlie refuses to marry her.
