Meeting of Minds
Before he knew it, Simpson had taken a detour all the way to Monte Vista, to have his first face-to-face meeting with the dog that he was dreaming of bringing home with him.
Simpson was immediately taken with Drools, falling in love with him the moment he saw him, but Drools himself was not so convinced.
However, after he had had time to relax and get used to this new visitor, he started to warm up—even seeking some belly rubs and cuddles!

After that first meeting, Simpson knew straight away that Drools was the dog for him.
Immediately after leaving the shelter, he wrote another message to them, pouring out his heart and emotions.
He explained how touched he was by Drools’ story, and how much he appreciated what the center had done for him. Simpson reiterated that he was desperate to take Drools home with him as soon as possible.
But the final answer would rest with those in charge at the animal center. Would they be convinced?
