Match Made in Heaven
Sure enough, Widetich’s social media campaign began to spread far and wide. Facebook and Instagram users from all over the country were tuning in to see her adorable updates on Drools and his need for a home.
But one particular guy noticed the post, and knew straight away—he was destined to have this dog. On a long drive from Dallas, Texas back to his home in Boulder, Colorado, Josh Simpson was about to take a life-changing detour—for both himself and his new furry friend.

After seeing the social media post about adorable Drools, Simpson messaged the Conour Animal Center on Facebook, expressing that he had seen the update and he wanted to do whatever he could to take this sweet animal home.
They were delighted to hear from him, though they warned him about the specific needs that Drools would have to be looked after.
Simpson was certain he was the right man for the job—but would he be able to convince the center?
