A True Hero
Of course, everyone who worked for both Conour Animal Center and Relay for Rescue was incredibly dedicated in their work protecting animals and doing everything they could to give them a better life.
But none more so than Kacey Widetich, who served as the Founder and Executive Director of Relay for Rescue.
She didn’t just talk the talk, but she walked the walk—and was willing to do whatever it took to ensure happiness and comfort for every animal she encountered.
But what she was about to do next would hit headlines around the world.
Special Mission
When Widetich found out about Drools, she knew that she would do anything she could to help him find his forever home, and live in a place where he would be truly loved and cherished as he so deserved. And this commitment became even stronger when she found out that Drools was having a difficult time being adopted.
This beautiful creature, despite his loving and happy personality, had been living in the shelter for almost two years!
Widetich knew that it wasn’t Drools’ fault—and she knew exactly what to do to help him.
