A House of Hope
For the workers at Conour Animal Shelter, the Upper Rio Grande Animal Society in Monte Vista, Colorado, it was a day that began like any other.
Sadly, the animal-loving staff at the center often see dogs and cats who have been abandoned or left to fend for themselves in the streets. Of course, they do everything they can to give them a happy home in the center once they’ve taken them in, but their priority is always to try and find a permanent place for these furry friends to live.
But there was one special dog whose journey to his forever home would prove more difficult than they could imagine.
