A Bond Between Animals
Snafu spent the next year at the Liberia Chimpanzee Rescue and Protection, recovering and growing up to be a healthy, happy canine.
In the beginning, the chimps were attentive and understood that Snafu was in a fragile state, and were there for her whenever she needed a little bit of TLC. And as the days went by, the chimps and Snafu started to get closer and closer together.
They all became the best of pals and loved playing around outside. Snafu had finally had a family, but that didn’t mean this was her forever home.
Anything is Possible
Who would have ever thought that a sweet stray puppy and a group of innocent orphaned chimps would ever live together? It sounds like something you might see in a Disney movie. But at Liberia Chimpanzee Rescue and Protection, it seemed like anything was possible.
The chimps seemed to take Snafu as one of their own, and made sure to protect her in her time of need. Can you imagine how thrilled and excited Jenny must’ve been to know that her decision to keep Snafu was right?
The whole situation was beyond heart-warming and tear-jerking for everyone!
