Day 5 of the Rescue
By Day 5, Snafu already had started growing back some brand-new fluffy hair, and just being a lot more active and happier.
However, Jenny confessed that “every day we kind of felt like he’s getting a little bit better, but with most animals that we rescue, there’s a day when they kind of take a turn.”
When Snafu arrived to the shelter, it had a few open wounds that Jimmy treated upon their arrival. And while they were trying to quickly heal them, Snafu kept biting them and opening the wounds back up.
Not Giving Up
As we’ve revealed, Jenny and Jimmy weren’t just professional rescuers, they loved all animals no matter what species they were. And for that very reason, they weren’t going to just give up on the little puppy during its time in need, and were always resourceful in times like these.
“It was starting to heal with the medicine, but then he was biting [the injuries], so we put the collar on him,” Jenny shared.
And just like any animal, Snafu didn’t really enjoy wearing the collar, yet the bond between this pure pup and the Desmonds grew stronger.
But surprisingly enough, the team of rescuers weren’t the only ones who were there to help Snafu out.
