Taking Snafu Home

Jenny gently grabbed the cute pup from the street and drove immediately home to her husband, Jimmy, who is a veterinarian.

As soon as they got to the shelter, Jenny and her team of rescuers gave the little pup a bath, food, water, and treated his sores and other health conditions.

Within less than a week, the cute little pup, whom they named Snafu, was already showing tons of really strong healing signs. But the couple knew that this wasn’t the end of the battle, it was just the beginning.

A Very Simple, Yet Specific Treatment Plan

Treating Snafu wasn’t as simple as just giving him a bowl of food and water and calling it a day.

Jimmy explained in a video by John Handem Piette, “[I’m giving him] very basic IV fluids to treat his dehydration. If you overfeed too quickly, it can cause problems if they’re in the starvation state. We’ll just start slowly and see how he does. Keep giving him fluids, make sure he has access to water.”

But it looked like the pup was in good hands and was powering through like a champ!
