A Well-Rounded Animal Care-Taker
Since Jenny and her husband, Jimmy Desmond, are the founders and managers of the Liberia Chimpanzee Rescue and Protection in West Africa, they know a thing or two about animal-care. However, cute and cuddly chimps are still different than precious pups.
Still though, since Jenny was a well-rounded animal care-taker, she was able to assess this little pup’s health status as soon as she approached it.
Jenny kneeled down and gently walked up towards the dog to take a closer look. But unfortunately, things weren’t looking too good for the young and sweet little stray dog.
Poor Condition
Without the need of taking the sweet little stray straight to the vet, Jenny could tell that it was in critical condition. It was missing patches of hair all over its body, and was covered in all sorts of scars and sores.
“You see his eyes? He has infections, he’s underweight … Look at him, he has worms, he’s going to be eaten alive,” Jenny noted with a shaky voice upon picking the puppy up.
So how was Jenny going to help this poor little street pup?
