We all fell in love with country music sweetheart Lauren Alaina when she sang her heart out on American Idol and then again, we she danced onto our screens while competing on Dancing With the Stars.

Week after week Alaina danced her way into our hearts with a huge smile on her face.

While she fell just short of taking home the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy, placing fourth in the season, she credits the tough rehearsals and performances for helping her get into shape.

Dancing is a great workout and to fuel up Alaina had three high-protein and low-carb meals a day as well as some healthy snacks.

Kate Hudson

Actress Kate Hudson has come a long way from playing Andie in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. While she plays an advice columnist and the love interest of leading man Matthew McConaughey in the film, in real life, the actress and mom of three has some great tips for leading a healthy lifestyle.

Hudson, who also owns the athleisure brand Fabletics, works out three to four times a week and switches up her workouts regularly, with her favorites being The Mirror, Pilates, and dance fitness.

In fact, the actress practically swears by Pilates, “I love how flexible I feel and I like what it does to the shape of my body,” Hudson told Women’s Health.
