Every time Australian actress Rebel Wilson graces the big screen, she manages to make us laugh. While she usually plays the funny character in films, she managed to take a pretty serious outlook on her health in 2020.

The Pitch Perfect star dedicated 2020 to her “Year of Health” and throughout the year, she let her fans in on her journey by documenting her progress on Instagram. By December 2020, she announced that she accomplished her goals with “one month to spare”. So, how did she do it?

Rebel got really into fitness and intense cardio workouts including tire flips and battle rope slams as well as surfing. She also credits giving up sugar and junk food and making sure to stay hydrated.

A four-time Grammy winner and the best-selling female rapper of all time, Missy Elliot has been giving us workout music gold since the early ‘00s and she clearly knows how to “Work It”. Over the years, fitness influencers have choreographed tons of dance cardio workouts to her biggest hits and it turns out that she enjoys staying fit just as much as we love working out to her music.
