Kirstie Alley has been in the spotlight since the late ‘80s with her breakout role as Rebecca Howe on Cheers, which she also received an Emmy and Golden Globe for.

In addition to starring in TV series and films throughout her career, Alley has been a contestant on Dancing with the Stars and the British reality TV show Celebrity Big Brother, which she finished as runner up for both.

While participating on Dancing with the Stars, she spent more than four hours per day working out and learning the choreography for the show.

Since then, she sticks to eating healthily and she’s active three times a week. While she doesn’t like gyms, she stays in shape with bike riding, dance classes, and yoga.

Lena Dunham

Is there anything Girls star and creator Lena Dunham can’t do? She’s an author, actress, screenwriter, and producer. While Dunham describes herself as a “not athletic kid”, now, she loves running. So how did she get into it?

It actually happened on the set of Girls—the producer thought it was a good idea for Dunham’s character Hannah to run to signify character development. So, they went ahead and hired a running teacher.

The actress admits that she was surprised when she started getting into it. “When it became something that actually gave me pleasure, I was shocked. Also, endorphins are real. You run with someone for an hour, you feel pretty good,” she told espnW.
