We are sure there’s lots of everyday items that will be obsolete in the next 20 or 30 years. This strange item received by a college freshman is the perfect illustration of this.
They had received this item from the University and, upon not being able to figure out what it was, decided to ask the Internet. Turns out this is actually a germ key. It is used by people to open door handles without touching them so as to prevent the spread of infections. We would love one of these.
