On first impression this looks like yet another, if slightly broken, teapot. If you take a look carefully, you can see it doesn’t have any lid or markings.
It is also made from white ceramic, and there is some crazy to the glaze, implying that it obviously is not from recent years. As the original poster would discover very quickly, it was actually an older version of the modern sippy cup. It was made for people who were too weak or too sick to be able to feed themselves.

If you are like most people, one look at this and you are just going to be absolutely terrified. Not the original poster, though, who kept this around for 20 years and finally decided to find information online. Apparently, these are the teeth of the American freshwater drum fish.
For those who do not know, these types of fish typically have teeth (which are not unlike human molars) that they use to break down oysters and mussels for consumption. Of course, they are also known as the google google, the grinder, and the grunter fish.
