29. Jason Kapono – 43.4%
Jason Kapono was already known for his amazing three-point skills back in his college days. But it didn’t take long for him to prove that he belonged in the pros. He was never the star player, but his sheer reliability as a role player made him a key component of the Miami Heat’s title run in 2006.
During his time in the NBA, he successfully shot and made 457 three-point shots. Although that might seem a little low, his shockingly high three-point career average of 43.4% is why he belongs on this list.
Oh yeah, and let’s not forget that he won the three-point shoutout—twice.
28. Chauncey Billups – 38.7%
No matter which team Chauncey Billups was on, he was always very reliable from beyond the three-point arc. A born & raised Coloradoan with a soft spot for the Denver Nuggets, “Mr. Big Shot” had a very natural jumpshot, the kind that seemed to just go in when you needed it most.
Indeed, when it came time for Billups to make the big shots, he always came through. He nailed 1,830 three-pointers on 38.7% over his career, and managed to snag an NBA Finals MVP in the process!
