Stop to Smell the Roses
From participating in philanthropist projects and events, to inspirational public speaking, to promoting and keeping up with healthy habits, to her exciting list of passion ventures, it’s clear she plans to do so much more!
On Father’s Day in June 2020, Danica posted a picture “after [the] first Indy 500 that I came close to winning” on Instagram, with the caption, “Now and forever I am so grateful you’re my dad. You taught me how to have a dream and work hard. Now let’s slow down and enjoy life. It goes quick.”
The ambitious, caring, passionate, and driven woman has done so much within her first three decades in life, and there’s no doubt that she’s ready for more – just at a pace where she can stop and smell the roses, too.
“I Got Choked Up”
Just when you think that Danica Patrick has put her driving career to rest, she’s back at it again in ways we never saw coming!
For the 105th Indy 500 race, Danica Patrick was honorably asked to co-host the event’s show, as well as, drive this year’s Pace Car (a 2021 Corvette Stingray) for the race. How exciting!
The superstar shared on Instagram, “sun was shining, people everywhere, smiling, I drove the pace car, worked with amazing talent on the broadcast, great action on track, and a truly wonderful human won his 4th Indy 500!!!! And I got choked up. One of only 4 in history to do that!”
But that wasn’t the only historical moment of the day.
